<!– /11440465/Dna_Article_Middle_300x250_BTF –>A 26-year-old man, who took to crimes to earn a quick buck in order to challenge his wife who had dumped him, has been arrested by the police. A stolen Audi car and a loaded revolver was also recovered from his possession.According to senior police officers, the man came under the police radar while they were working on other local criminals. Further intelligence about him was then gathered and his suspected hideouts were raided.DCP (southwest) Shibesh Singh said that on Saturday, information was received that criminal Amit Kumar, involved in gambling activities and previously arrested in under the Arms Act, was using a stolen Audi car. “It was intimated that the criminal roams with a sophisticated weapon and will come near the DPS School at Matiala Road in Dwarka around 6 pm. The team swiftly acted on the information and a trap was laid, following which he was arrested,” the DCP said.Kumar was driving a black Audi car with registration number HR 26 BE 4852 at the time of his arrest. A sophisticated revolver, loaded with two live rounds, was also seized from his possession.Kumar had purchased an Audi in 2013 as a status symbol.
