He claimed his ‘monkey’ comment was aimed at the Nizam of Hyderabad and not Rajputs. The Karni Sena, in the news over the protests against Padmavati, had warned Paresh Rawal over his statement.He said: “I apologise unconditionally to all the members of Rajput community. I don’t know why I spoke those words. I never intended to hurt sentiments of any community: Paresh Rawal on his earlier statement allegedly comparing royals and music with monkeys.”He had apologised earlier as well, claiming that the message wasn’t for the Rajput community but aimed at ‘Nizam of Hyderabad’.
