Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah’s grandfather Santokh Singh Bumrah’s body was found in Ahmedabad, a day after his daughter reported a missing persons Complaint. He was 84. According to a report by Ahmedabad Mirror, Santokh was in the city to meet his grandson. An auto driver by profession in Uttarakhand, Santokh was a successful businessman until his son – Jasprit’s father – passed away. The report added that since then, the business went downhill and Santokh had to resort to driving a rickshaw. His daughter Rajinder Kaur, however, alleged that the fast bowler’s mother Daljit Kaur spoke to Santokh, but refused to let him speak to Jasprit. She didn’t even give his phone number. This is when Santokh, determined to meet him, left for Ahmedabad where he went missing. Currently, Jasprit is playing the first ODI between India and Sri Lanka at Dharamshala.
