<!– /11440465/Dna_Article_Middle_300x250_BTF –>Three days after an ice-cream parlour owner was robbed at gunpoint by four bike-borne assailants, the Delhi Police finally managed to register a case, after persuading the victim as he feared the consequences post the case being registered. No arrests have been made so far.The CCTV footage of the incident, which took place in Central Delhi’s Rajendra Nagar went viral on social media prompting the police to approach the victim. The victim was initially hesitant to open up regarding the robbery and did not want to lodge a case as he was afraid of being identified. The entire incident was captured in the cameras installed at the location.According to the CCTV footage, the victim is seen on the road just outside his shop with a small carry bag in one hand while smoking a cigarette. After some time, two persons get off a motorcycle while the other two remain seated on the same motorcycle with the ignition on. One of the assailants had his face uncovered but on spotting the camera he puts on the helmet, which was initially just covering half of his head. The other attacker removes the victim’s gold chain and brandishes a gun to scare him. A passerby who is seen trying to intervene is shown the pistol by the attackers and asked to leave.The duo then scans the pockets of the victim and takes away the cash that he had in his wallet while returning the empty wallet to him. The attackers then casually sit on their motorcycle and leave the spot.
