The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) earned a record Rs 2.5 crore through its consultancy services this year. The paramilitary force that secures the Delhi Metro and the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in the national Capital also provides consultancy services, and had recently offered them to schools after the Ryan murder case.Hemendra Singh, assistant inspector general and public relations officer of the CISF, said that during this calendar year, CISF’s total revenue earning was 2.54 crore — the highest-ever in a single calendar year since the inception of the force’s consultancy services. The previous best earning through consultancy was Rs 2.10 crore in 2015.The CISF has provided consultancy services to 157 establishments under both government and private sectors, and PSUs.Some of the force’s prominent clients include AIIMS, Allahabad High Court, Central Jail Bhopal, IITs, IIM Indore, Infosys Ltd, LBS Academy of Administration Mussourie, Museums under Ministry of Culture, RBI Mumbai, Aditya Birla Group institutions, Bajaj Auto Ltd, and others.”Through the consultancy services, we intend to provide integrated security solutions that are tailor-made to suit the requirements of the clients. Recently, we offered our consultancy services to various schools as a social responsibility measure. Till date, 14 schools from all parts of country have requested t6he CISF to provide consultancy services to strengthen their security apparatus,” Singh said.
