Following the call, the central agency and other police authorities had begun the investigation and they found nothing suspicious and that the call was a hoax. The agency traced the call to Mira Road and identified the caller as Irshad Shaikh from Mira Road. A case was then lodged at the Gamdevi police station on Tuesday. According to sources, the central agency informed Maharashtra ATS and Shaikh was detained and handed over to Gamdevi police who are probing the matter.
