He said that while the state government through its sports and youth welfare department was felicitating sportspersons who have made the country proud, some leaders were busy mourning during Navratri. Shelar commented, “It is their misfortune that they went for mourning despite festivities.”Meanwhile, Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana criticised the Union Government by citing an article by former Union Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha.
