The 16-year-old minor, who was the prime suspect, on Saturday confessed to killing his mother and sister in their flat in Gaur City-2 Greater Noida.According to police, the boy was apprehended by Gautam Buddha Nagar police from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh late on Friday night. “The boy who was on the run after committing the murder had called his father on Friday afternoon from an unknown number. The father immediately informed the police after which a team reached the location and found him,” said Luv Kumar, Senior superintendent of police (Gautam Buddha Nagar). Police said the boy did not confess his crime during the call, but kept crying on the phone. The phone number was passed to the police by the father of the minor following which location was traced to Mughal Sarai. A team was sent from Greater Noida by air and brought him to here.
