The event was chaired by SDMC Mayor, Kamaljeet Sahrawat. Project Officer, Government of Delhi, Dr RS Raheja and Medical Health Officer of SDMC, Dr. Hazarika were also present.Speaking on the occasion, Mayor said, “Dengue, chikungunia and malaria are cause due to people’s carelessness. It is easy to stop breeding of the mosquitoes by taking a few precautions such as cleaning and drying up all those utensils, tyres, coolers, flower pots and other articles prone to accumulation of water and putting full sleeves clothes to avoid mosquito bites particularly in the case of kids and school going children.”She even added, “The sole responsibility to fight these diseases lies on the shoulder of common people like you and me. The formula to fight them is to take proper prevention.”
