Few groups had previously claimed that on Thursday, the demonstration was in support of the Rajsamand hate crime accused, Shambhulal while others held it to be against the anti social slogans. Even as the exact cause and those to be behind the notorious social media messages are still to be identified, police and administration have sought to levy ban on mobile internet and imposition of Section 144 to keep the situations under control. The prohibitory orders were though called off as city remains peaceful since Thursday evening clash. ”
