<!– /11440465/Dna_Article_Middle_300x250_BTF –>On Tuesday, Ivanka Trump and PM Modi inaugurated the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017 in Hyderabad by pressing two buttons on Mitra – a humanoid robot made in India. Mitra was designed by Invento Robotics, CEO of Invento Tech – Balaji Viswanathan – and his 14-member team deployed two bots at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017. During the event, Mitra went all the way to where PM Modi and Ivanka Trump were sitting and greeted them.There was a small faux paus though with Mitra, when both Modi and Ivanka pressed the button together.

Given the high profile dignitaries and the tight security, Mitra will have limited interaction on the dais. When the PM and Ivanka Trump come on to the stage, Mitra will move towards them and have a conversation. They can then press a button which will prompt Mitra to sing that the summit has been declared open.”Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met Ivanka Trump, daughter and adviser to US President Donald Trump, on the sidelines of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit .The Press Information Bureau (PIB) released a picture of the two warmly shaking hands but did not immediately give details of what transpired at the meeting.Trump landed today and is scheduled to make the opening address at the GES.”Thank you for the warm welcome,” she tweeted. “I’m excited to be in Hyderabad, India for #GES2017.” Trump, who is also a fashion designer and a businesswoman, was invited by Modi during his visit to the White House in June to speak at the Summit.She is leading the US contingent at the Summit, which has ‘Women First, Prosperity for All’ as its theme.Modi will host dinner for her at the famous Falaknuma Palace Hotel this evening.
