<!– /11440465/Dna_Article_Middle_300x250_BTF –>Sidelined AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakaran on Friday expressed confidence that he will win the RK Nagar seat, and will also get back party’s ‘Two Leaves’ symbol.Dhinakaran’s reaction came after the Election Commission (EC) announced by-poll to Dr Radha Krishnan Nagar Assembly constituency which fell vacant following the demise of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa last year will be held on December 21.Dhinakaran made the comment while addressing party workers in Tiruppur.The counting of votes will be held on December 24 and the election process will be completed before 26th of next month, an EC press release which was made available by Tamil Nadu’s Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhoni here said.Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam has filed a caveat in the Supreme Court in connection with the ‘two leaves’ symbol case.In the petition filed by Panneerselvam, he has appealed to the apex court to not pass any order if the Dinakaran camp moves the court challenging the Election Commission’s (EC) order in ‘two leaves’ symbol case.Earlier on Thursday, the poll panel allotted the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) ‘two leaves’ symbol to the party’s faction led by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy and his deputy, O Panneerselvam.AIADMK leader TTV Dhinakaran then objected to the decision of the Election Commission, accusing it of conducting the inquiry in an unfair manner.Dinakaran also alleged that the Centre influenced the poll watchdog’s decision in the case.
